1. Introduction and Purpose

This document outlines the mandatory insurance policy for all customers renting a self-storage unit or container from Gorilla Storage ("the Company"). Our priority is to ensure that our customers' belongings are protected. To that end, we require all customers to hold a valid insurance policy for the goods they store in our facilities. This policy is a condition of the rental agreement.

It is a mandatory condition of your storage agreement with Gorilla Storage that your stored goods are insured. The insurance policy is designed to protect your belongings against loss or damage.

A unit or container cannot be rented from Gorilla Storage without the customer selecting one of the approved insurance coverage options. This ensures peace of mind and provides financial protection for your valued possessions.

Gorilla Storage offers two levels of insurance coverage to meet your needs. You must select one of the following options at the time of signing your rental agreement:

The cost of your chosen insurance plan will be automatically added to your monthly (or otherwise agreed) rental subscription fee. The insurance charge will be clearly itemised on your regular invoice. Your rental and insurance payment will be collected as a single transaction.

By signing the Gorilla Storage rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Mandatory Insurance Policy. You confirm your selection of either the £5,000 or £10,000 coverage option and agree to pay the associated costs as part of your regular subscription.

Failure to maintain payments for your unit and the associated insurance will be considered a breach of your rental agreement.
